Biotechnology network: - Networking in the region - Acceptance for biotechnology The Biotechnology Network Berlin-Brandenburg e.V. brings together stakeholders from science, industry and people interested in the biosciences. Its goal is to contribute to the further development of biotechnology in the region: together with the BioTOP action center, the biotechnology centers and research associations in Berlin and Brandenburg. The biotechnology association is aimed at all those who work with and are interested in biotechnologies: Practitioners from industry and research, scientists, economists and engineers, students, doctoral candidates, university lecturers, companies, institutions, authorities, associations... . Through numerous events such as "Life Science vor Ort", "BioBilanz", "Lunch and Learn" and committees, we help the players in the region to get to know each other and their work better. Improving public understanding and acceptance of the life sciences and their applications is another focus of our work, e.g. with the "call a scientist" project.
